Past Events!   Thanks to some of our favorite musicians who played the LLCS benefit concert May 9th at Don Quixote’s International Music Hall: Tempest With 12 critically acclaimed CDs, this globally-renowned group delivers a hybrid of high-energy folk rock fusing Irish reels, Scottish ballads, Norwegian influences and other world music elements. Always a crowd-pleasing favorite, and celebrating 20 Great Years of Music in 2008! Banshee in the Kitchen plays Celtic music with eclectic skill and merry abandon. They take traditional Celtic tunes, find the sweet spot between old and new, stirring it all up with trademark playfulness and musicality they term “banshee-fying”. Tom Breiding Tom has carved a niche as a chronicler of small-town America. His songs are affecting.
